SURFSKATE & SKATE SCHOOL TERMS AND CONDITIONS 2025/2026

1. INTRODUCTION

Surf Garage, through Surf Garage Club Deportivo, offers skate and surfskate courses for the 2025–2026 season.

By enrolling in our classes or courses, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions, which regulate your participation in all activities of the Center.

2. DEFINITIONS

Center
Surf Garage Club Deportivo – Surf Garage, provider of skate and surfskate training services.

Participant
Any person enrolled in the programs, courses, or classes offered by Surf Garage.

Services
All activities, classes, courses, events, and additional services offered by Surf Garage related to skate and surfskate training.

3. REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Registration Process
Registration is completed by filling out the corresponding form and accepting these Terms and Conditions.

Annual Registration Fee
A mandatory annual registration fee of €20 per school year applies. This fee covers material replacement and maintenance.

Monthly Fees
Payments are made via direct debit between the 1st and the 5th of each month.

Refund Policy

• No refunds will be granted once the course has started, except in exceptional circumstances and at Surf Garage’s discretion.

• Full refunds will only be issued if a course is canceled by Surf Garage.

4. CLASS DURATION AND FORMAT

Classes are available for children from 3.5 years old, subject to motor skills level and interest.

• Class duration is 45 minutes for children under 6 years old.

• Class duration is 1 hour for children over 7 years old.

Groups are limited to a maximum of 6 participants.

All necessary equipment (skates, surfskates, and protective gear) is included in the fee.

The use of protective equipment (helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards) is mandatory.

5. COURSE CALENDAR 2025/2026

Start Date: September 15, 2025

First Term: September 15 – December 19, 2025

Second Term: January 19 – May 31, 2026

Make-up Classes:
Each student may recover up to 2 classes (without justification required) during the first two weeks of June 2026.

6. FEES AND NUMBER OF CLASSES

The school operates on an average of 4 classes per month.

Some months may include 5 classes and others fewer. By the end of the school year, all students will have completed approximately 34 to 36 sessions.

To balance the full course:

• September and December are charged as full months.

• January is charged at half price.

7. ATTENDANCE AND MAKE-UP POLICY

Classes will not be rescheduled if a student is absent for personal reasons.

Each student may recover up to 2 classes without justification in June.

In case of cancellation by Surf Garage (adverse weather, force majeure, etc.), the session will be rescheduled.

8. CLASS ORGANIZATION

Meeting Point:
Always at Surf Garage, 10 minutes before each class.

In Case of Rain:
Sessions will take place in the covered area of the Kursaal.

In Good Weather:
Classes will be held in Sagües or in the area behind the Kursaal.

9. ACCIDENT INSURANCE

All participants are covered by accident insurance during the activities carried out in class.

10. CODE OF CONDUCT AND USE OF EQUIPMENT

Participants and families must follow instructors’ guidelines.

Provided equipment must be properly cared for. Participants will be responsible for any damage caused by improper use.

11. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING

Surf Garage reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes for safety, weather-related, or force majeure reasons.

Any changes will be communicated through official WhatsApp groups.

12. DATA PROTECTION

Surf Garage is committed to protecting personal data privacy in accordance with applicable legislation.

Collected data will be used exclusively for the administrative management of the services provided.

13. MODIFICATIONS TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Surf Garage reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated to participants and will take effect upon publication through official channels.

14. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by the applicable legislation in the Basque Country, Spain.

Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Donostia–San Sebastián.

DECLARATION OF ACCEPTANCE

By enrolling in Surf Garage courses or activities, you declare that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions, and agree to comply with all provisions set forth herein.
