SURFSKATE SCHOOL AND CLASSES TERMS AND CONDITIONS 2024-2025

SURF GARAGE

1. INTRODUCTION

Surf Garage, through Surfskate Garage Club, offers surfskate courses for the 2024–2025 season. By enrolling in our classes or courses, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions, which regulate your participation in all activities of the Center.

2. DEFINITIONS

Center: Surfskate Garage Club - Surf Garage, provider of surfskate training services.

Participant: Any person enrolled in the programs, courses, or classes offered by Surfskate Garage Club - Surf Garage.

Services: All activities, classes, courses, events, and additional services offered by Surfskate Garage Club - Surf Garage in relation to surfskate training.

3. REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Registration Process: Registration is completed by filling out the corresponding form and accepting these Terms and Conditions.

Payment must be made after completing the registration form. It is mandatory to provide the bank account number from which the monthly amount of €69 will be debited. The available course formats are:

• Two-month course (Bimester): October–November

• Four-month course (Quadrimester): February–May

All required fields must be completed for the registration to be valid. Otherwise, the child will not be enrolled in the surfskate course.

Refund Policy:
No refunds will be granted once the course has started, except in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of Surfskate Garage Club - Surf Garage.

Full refunds will only be issued if a course is canceled by Surfskate Garage Club - Surf Garage.

4. DURATION AND CLASS FORMAT

Age and Class Duration:
Classes are available for children from 3.5 years of age, subject to their motor skills level and interest.

• Group classes for children under 6 years old last 45 minutes.

• Classes for children over 7 years old last 1 hour.

Groups are limited to a maximum of 6 participants.

5. ATTENDANCE AND MAKE-UP POLICY

Make-up Classes:
Classes will not be rescheduled if a child is absent for personal reasons.

Make-up classes are only allowed in the following cases:

• If the class is canceled by Surfskate Garage Club - Surf Garage.

• If the student provides a medical certificate preventing attendance. In this case, the class may be made up in another group subject to availability. Surfskate Garage Club - Surf Garage will decide the group and the date for the make-up session.

6. WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY

Course Payment:
Course payments are made via monthly direct debit. The bank account number must be provided at the time of registration or renewal.

In case of withdrawal once the course has started, neither the registration fee nor the payment for the month(s) already used will be refunded.

Refund Policy:
Refunds will only be issued if the course is canceled by decision of Surfskate Garage Club - Surf Garage.

7. SEASON AND COURSE FORMATS

The surfskate school offers two course formats:

• Bimester: October–November

• Quadrimester: February–May

Summer intensive courses (“Colonias”) are independent and managed separately.

8. CODE OF CONDUCT AND USE OF EQUIPMENT

Conduct:
Participants and parents/guardians must follow the instructors’ directions and maintain respectful behavior during classes and toward staff members.

Use of Equipment:
Surfskate Garage Club will provide the necessary equipment during classes. Participants must take care of the equipment and will be responsible for any damage caused by improper use.

9. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING

Cancellation by Surfskate Garage Club:
Surfskate Garage Club - Surf Garage reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any class or course due to unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather conditions, insufficient enrollment, or force majeure situations.

In case of adverse weather conditions, Surfskate Garage Club - Surf Garage reserves the right to modify the location where the skating activity will take place. Participants/parents/guardians are responsible for staying informed through the WhatsApp group.

In case of cancellation, the affected class will be rescheduled for another day.

10. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

Confidentiality:
Surfskate Garage Club - Surf Garage is committed to protecting the privacy of Participants’ personal data in accordance with current data protection legislation.

The data collected will be used exclusively for the administrative management of the services offered.

11. MODIFICATIONS TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Update of Terms:
The Center reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to Participants and will enter into force upon publication through the Center’s official channels.

12. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

Applicable Law:
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the applicable legislation.

Any dispute arising in relation to these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Donostia.

DECLARATION OF ACCEPTANCE

By enrolling in Surf Garage courses or activities, you declare that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions, and agree to comply with all the provisions set forth herein.
